Just a thought: is your project and all the files on drive C:? If not, try to move them there, rebuild and retry. Maybe you have run in another known bug...

If this doesn't work and you choose Win32 functions, you may want to take a look to the FAQs I have in the KB here on UT. There are some other bugs and differences between 95 and NT. :(
