Next month we will be replacing our 10 individual dialup accounts with an always on connection through a satellite receiver – DirecPC. This will be connected to a computer via USB and currently has Win ’98 installed, but could be upgraded to Win2K. This computer will be a node on our NT (TCP/IP) network. Multiple network users will have access to this connection. We currently have Norton Antivirus installed on all workstations with dialup access.

What is the best way to secure this connection and our network from a virus, hackers, etc?
