You cannot use it in VFP directly because even when you manage to create the font that way, VFP cannot use this font to display something. Of course, you can open the device context for current window in VFP by other API functions and draw something by API functions using that font. However, this is tremendous and requires a lot of work. For whatever reason you want to use this functionality, think twise if time spent for this worth it. Most visible controls in VFP have the appropriate properties to configure the font and it is enough in 99.9% of situations.
