The error only happened when running the .exe, and is found the clue to the solution when I right clicked on the project manager to check the icon properties, it somehow got corrupted and everything started to work when I deleted the record which I supposed was the one containing the icon data (the key field contained an “i” and the icon name into one of the memo fields).

I haven’t tried to attach an icon again but this solved it successfully
