I was wondering the same thing! Who'd take out the garbage? :)

>One nice thing about higher education – you think more like the academic word demands – another cookie cutter in action. However, by the time you obtain your Ph.D., you may have gone over the edge and are capable of establishing new concepts – perhaps like the two college drop outs cited above.

When I was in grad school I met guys/gals like these. Never do the assignments, never study for tests, read the text only once.... and score the highest grades on each exam. They all, like Bill Gates, have two attributes: 1) a phenomenal memory, 2) the ability to abstract the known into the unknown.

It's a gift... you can't 'learn' those things. I once checked out a book by Jerry Lukas and Harry Loraine on "How to improve your memory". I forgot to return it to the library. :)
