My DTS package is a simple ExecuteProcessTask which points to an executable on my server's local disk.
This executable, written in VFP, spawns additional DTS packages which run perfectly OK from VFP, Enterprise Manager and the command prompt using the DTSRUN utility with integrated NT security.
If I pass it a parameter, the resulting packages can be saved to the repository, and run from the Enterprise Manager without a hitch.
My problem is that when I am scheduling the ExecuteProcessTask package which points to the executable, the package starts up, and then simply does not do anything. It seems that it is waiting for a response from VFP. Is there an issue with the foxuser.dbf file by any chance?
Both SQL Server and SQLAgent run under a common sql administrator's account as a service with local administrator's rights
Permissions to the directory where the executable resides have been givenm to allow UNC access
I'd appreciate any help, lead.
Thanks,
Sanjay
