Hello everybody

I have a program, I need excl file lock for a reindex function

I created a stand alone table ('lock.lock') with a logical field

during the load of any form off the main menu and the program startup it checks the locked status, during the startup it works fine and quits but if I am at the main menu and launch a form about 50% of the forms it doesn't work, I get a window 'Cannot quit visual FoxPro' I hit ok, and then loads the form like nothing happened

I think it's either a

ON SHUTDOWN (thing)

or I have calling programs running
WEIA <----- startup
Main <----- Main Menu
launched form <----- the form that found lock = .T. ,but it can't be this cause about half of the forms quit seamlessly

and nowhere ever do I use the (on shutdown) function so it isn't something I forgot to un-do
