SQL servers of some type, where the app (vfp app) is a thick client installed on the remote users machine, is really quite slick. runs quick, just like local data) however, you do need to get some SQL type server installed and running before you can get this work...

One solution not mentioned yet, is if you just have a few forms, then you might consider a web application, to collect a view the data. web apps using vfp can be quick, and work just fine over a 56K dial up.
