hello all

i am new to vb. i am working on datareport. i have 2 tables. item1 and item2. pk of item1 is fk item2 that is item_code there can more than one entity of item1 in item2. now when i am firing the SQL command and giveing join to the statment and displaying through datareport if there one than one entity of the item1 in item2 that i found twice item_code in 2 diffrent row, now i want the display only one time item_code shaould be displayed that is on ist row remaining rows od that column should be blank.

hope u are getting my point. how should is do this.
