Don't know if it applies in your case, but once I had the requirement for a report where on the same sheet one side was portrait and another - landscape. Printer was capable of double-side printing. I created an Excel workbook from VFP with OLE automation, and sent the portrait page to one worksheet and the landscape page to another worksheet. Worksheets in Excel may have different page orientation. Then I printed the whole workbook and it came out on one sheet as required.
