Hi there.
I am working for a software company that releases product upgrades to their clients several times a year. I am using SQL Server 2000 and I'm currently using ERWin to create the necessary scripts to upgrade one version of the database to the next. I am interested in finding out how others accomplish this task and I am wondering what is considered to be the 'best' practice. Also, the method I am currently using assumes that the client is upgrading from the most recent release to the current release. It is possible that clients will skip upgrades (i.e. client is using version 1.0 but the current release is version 1.5). I'm interested in learning the most efficient way to handle this.
Thanks in advance for any/all input.
