I have a report with several group bands. Each band footer contains several 'summed' totals. The data source is a cursor created in the calling form. I need to reference individual totals in each band for further calculations. The problem is that, by default, the 'summed' total fields on the report have the same name as their source field name in the cursor. Consequently, referencing the report field by name value instead returns the cursor value where record pointer is located.

Being able to reference by 'report.band.field.value' would be nice but doesnt seem to work.

Creating report variables seems like a duplication of work already being done by the report.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
