I am trying to find the best way to deal with a situation as follows..

I need to be able to check a file in but in addition it should go to a past label. I do not want to replace the whole label just a few files.

It should work as follows..

We have 1 Source Safe Project..
-Developers create labels when every they feel like it for themselves..
-A test version is label QPDM_XXX_buildXXX_test
-A QA'd version is label QPDM_XXX_buildXXX

-The version goes out and a few weeks we find a new problem which should be fixed in QPDM_XXX_buildXXX.

So I make the change and check it in but it doesn't go into the QA'd version.
Can I check it in to a past label?


Presently we have to create a new project with the QA'd version and if there is a fix we need to manually check each file in to several projects. Which is not working out OK.
