Hi all,

This is not a VFP related question, but I thought someone may be able to shed some light anyway...

If I leave my laptop unused, the HDD goes into sleep mode after about 5 minutes, but something in W2k access the HDD every 10 minutes or so.. causing the the drive to spin up again..
I have tried closing down all non essential tasks, but it still does it.

This especially winds me up if I am watching a DVD on the laptop, because the HDD startup causes the video to stutter (every 10 minutes) and also makes a bit of noise.

Anyone got any ideas?
