Hi!

As far as I know, this is a big problem. I know only one way to transfer this - generate SQL script for database, then copy all data by using BCP, then re-create database structure using scrip on another server with another codepage, then copy data to new server by BCP utility. Tremendous.

Another idea I have to use replication for that, I know it iis possible to use it to copy the data from one serevr to another, but I did not tried it to copy data between servers with different codepages.

Good luck!

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
