Updates are not immediate at the main listings level for each section as it need to be refreshed by the robot every 15 minutes as mentioned when you save the entry.

Basically, as you also mentioned in the other reply, the confirmation message after the save will tell you that and also if failed assuming a validation message has been fired.

We will however update the forms in order to avoid hitting the back button to go back to correct a validation. This the same process as we do for the validation where it is firing at the message level here.
