There's virtually no documentation, so I'd have to trace through their code to figure anything out. They have a rich set of extended properties and methods, but only cursory description of what they're for. (VMF is well-documented).
They had no support for remote views (I don't know if they've fixed this in a later version).
I find VMF to be much more robust than VE, but again that might be because I missed some of VE's features due to poor documentation.
(I used VE for six months, VMF for three)
