I've been talking to a computer network specialist who recommends that we take our VFP data off of our NT4 server and create seperate Linux file server to hold the VFP data. We have about 15 users who are accessing the data during that day. They have complained (occasionaly) about saves taking 3 to 5 seconds to complete.

He thinks that will speed things up a bit. Has anyone out there tried this already? If so, did you see any noticeable increase in speed of the APP?
