I have the same problem from time to time. I haven't had time to track it down. I usually start with a fresh directory to be the location of the working folder then get latest of the VSS project and let it do a recursive pull. It works most of the time. :) There are, however, circumstances under which it either pulls just the project itself (with no files!) or a partial project. Some folks like to just use the VSS interface. This is something I would like to understand myself. ;(
