I have a couple questions that I haven't been able to find through any documentation or MS. I was looking for a way to partition my hard drive and inadvertently (well, not entirely) changed it to a Dynamic Disk.

1. Can I revert it back to a disk that can be partitioned? Without losing everything on it?

2. I have Administrator rights on my machine. Why are some of the options when I click on a volume disabled when I'm in the Disk Manager? Why do all the volumes display grey lines crossed through whenever I click on them?

3. What is the advantage of a Dynamic Disk compared to the simple one? I read the help, but it talked more about the disadvantages. You would think I would have known this one before I changed it to dynamic, but... :)

Thanks!

Regards, Renoir
