try doing a search on that and getting anything meaningful!

We desperately need to update our software and have considered all sorts of contact management software and I've come to the conclusion that it's going to be a DIY job. Before I bite the bullet and make the recommendation I thought I'd check in here to see if anyone knows of one. Doesn't have to be fox but that would be nice. We're only up for licence fees of about $300 * 2 seats so not a great earner.

My other alternative is to use a framework to nobble together something and gradually pad it out until we've got Act! on speed. I love what those programs can do with email. I hate what they do to data validation (icing) and not being able to accommodate product lines etc (bread and butter).

I haven't used a framework before and am a little concerned that training isn't available in my "area" - New Zealand. I'm ok at vfp so I'm assuming I'll be able to pick it up, right?
