>well does this take the "cake": I really ended up here after spending 8 years travelling around the Pacific on a sailboat (would still rather be doing THAT, actually, but circumstances changed).
My Wife used to travel the world and lived in the USA for a couple of years. She made a living out of varnishing/finishing sailboats. Its her that wants me to set up shop in an exotic location so she can resume her former life <s>.
>How's the weather there?
They don't call Manchester the rainy city for nuthin...
>having a good summer?
Summer started last week and ended today. Summer over here is about a week and a half out of any single year. The weather in the UK is really lousy :(
>following Wimboldon at all?
Yeah. I kinda like the tennis. Its great to have all the world over here kickin our butt. Our great hope, Tim Henman (Is it a bird, is it a plane, no, its Hen-Man) is playing Goran Ivanisavic ('scuse the spelling) today in one of the semis. I might just watch that one with my Dog, whilst the Wife's at work <bg>.
Take it easy.
