I'm using Visual Interdev to design my web pages, but am finding it very heavy to run and with features I don't need and without some features that I need, and easy to work with.

I'm a newcomer to web dev, so if you have any suggestions about a software that meets these requirements, and is free or low cost, please could you tell me about?
