Four days? Feh, I was on walk about for two weeks and no comm. I had my web-enabled cell phone, with modem, a laptop and a Pocket PC (I calculated the price of the electronics I had with me to be about half the retail price of the motorcycle they were riding on). Problem was getting a digital signal to connect. As I found out, there are plenty of places in the US that don't have analog coverage, let alone digital (e. g., Wyoming). Got to my sister's in Indianapolis hoping for a connection, but the wall jack for the computer was dead. Hell, I didn't even know if we had actually shipped or not until I got back.
