My household has gone wireless now. K and I both have digital wireless phones. The wired line will be deactivated in a few days. My new Nokia 5165 is pretty basic but I couldn't pass up the plan. $25CAN per month for unlimited evenings and weekends and 50 minutes between 8am - 6pm each weekday for the month. Should be plenty since I am at work during that time.

For the first three months I get caller id, text messaging, email and voicemail. I do without the caller id, but in a few short days I've become hooked on the email and text messaging. There is no WAP browser, but I could write some apps using email and text messaging to get data I figure.

I am still trying to justify a wireless internet access card for my iPaq. Hmmm... $400 to buy the card, then $55 per month for unlimited access.
