>>Gangster No 1 is fine movie. This is somewhat in the style of Guy Ritche but more serious... sort of film noir. Fans of The Spanish Prisoner, The Croupier and Sexy Beast should like this. Malcolm McDowell is great. Paul Bettany (never heard of this guy) plays the young character of Malcom's. His psychotic brilliance upstages Malcom's older version. Dark and disturbing, but still a pleasure to watch. The funny thing is that the main character is named and in the credits is called "Gangster No 55"
