>I want to know how can i secure my dbf files so that no one can brow dbf files. other than my program. I have done it by remove the header of dbf but it is risky during powerfailure. So please Tell me the Other way. Even I used to change the size of the dbf files to 0 while exiting. But even that was risky.

I can't remember the name of the tool, but there is one (or more) out there that links into VFP as an .FLL file, and lets you set a password. From then on, all DBF access is encrypted: VFP sees the DBF's as normal, but out side of VFP (or even inside of VFP before setting the password) the actual DBF file is encrypted.
