No, there is no weird programming going on. Like I said, multiple apps run fine on NT. If there were a programming error I would expect it to cause stalls across the board. Not to mention the fact that I can make any app stall the other open app in any combination. Unless I have unneccessary loops in all of my apps (which I don't), the programming shouldn't be causing the slowdowns.
Also, these machines never had problems before, but they might be getting used in a different pattern than before, I don't know...
