I didn't intend to take so long to reply. Sorry. Day to day production needs have kept me from pursuing a more suitable behavior when a ComboBox gets focus in a grid. Its not hard to achieve this outside of a grid. Inside a grid there are additonal interactions that don't occur to a ComboBox on a form. For pragmatic reasons I have to put this idea on hold for the time being.
