I think I was wrong and I had got passive mode as the client tells me it works on their network.

I assumed I hadn't got it as I got a PORT command back in the reply string.

It would be ice to be able to track whats being sent out and returned using wininet.dll. I'll have to investigate that for error trapping. The FTP class doesn't log any messages.
