I have had a number of problems running 2.6a Windows apps on Win2K. First, data handling (disk I/O, USEing tables etc) is a lot slower IMHO. Also, I have a third party FLL that just wont run under 2000 but does run happily under NT.
This has been such an issue for me that our main site running the applications has recently ordered new Dell Optiplex P4 PC's with NT installed.
Bottom line. If your app run "as is" on Win2K, you should have no problem. However, mine didn't. Trial and error ...
