Also, (to add to my previous message)there should be an upgrade path here to web services and .ASPX. You would call your VFP MTDLL from .aspx instead of .asp. From what I've heard, MS has been pounding and stress testing VFP MTDLLs (VFP7 and VFP6 SP5)to make sure they're fast and scalable...
>Take advantage of what you've already got with ASP and other built in tools. You can easily use the ASP objects in VFP MTDLLS which are a breeze to create. ASP.dll to your VFP .dll server will provide the fastest performance possible for web apps. Use FrontPage to create HTML templates that will have VFP variables and expressions embedded in them. These variables will be evaluated at run-time. We like FrontPage because you can easily create great looking pages. We've also found JavaScript to work great with this kind of setup for field level validations at the client,etc...
