Hi everyone,
I've got a bit of a problem here. I'm using a 3rd party application that is based in FoxPro 2.6/windows. Usually when there is a corrupt memo file, simply using the file will repair it. The memo file I have is unfortunately corrupted in a way FoxPro doesn't readily recognize. When I browsed the table in VFP 5 I saw some binary data in some of the memo fields. In the records in which this occured I went into the memo field and deleted all the data. While this makes the file usable again for the purpose it is intended I'm still getting a pack error that indicates a bad/missing memo file. I have heard of a program called "pro-tech"? that fixes this problem bt was unable to find anyh references anywhere to this. Also, if anyone has a solution for this, other than a 3rd party app, please let me know.
TIA
