It won't take much longer to learn the new .net stuff. Fox is a good thing to know don't get me wrong, why stop there.

I understand Visual Basic is not as OOP-oriented as Visual FoxPro. Personally, I would prefer to learn Delphi. However, I don't agree that you can learn any language in a couple of weeks. The basics, perhaps, but to program professionally is quite a different thing.
