I don't think it's the drive (fortunately). Just after the strike, when I tried to boot, I got a message about NVRAM (meaning, I think non-volatile RAM). The next day it booted up without problems. Last night, after numerous re-boots, suddenly it started to hang in the boot process. At best, I think it may be a little heat sensitive. I'll find out to-night.
