I've been running VFP5,6,7 simultaneously since w2k RC1 w/o no problems. Only one I encountered was you could lose your working forms if write caching enabled + IDE drive (power failure). Have a good backup strategy (ie:VSS).
OTOH compared to w9x series it's much more stable IMHO. I have dual boot but I booted to w9x only a few times.
