We have to agree to disagree here, but as I see this the site in question has only updates to the contents of the devcon materials and therefore is not "public" information but rahter is private information to those who attended devcon.

As an example the code sample I had in my session had a bug on the CD and the fix is posted on that web site. The code is not usefull to anyone who doesn't have the CD and the session notes from devcon. Besides the folks who attended devcon paid to get those notes and the cd.

I see this as analogous to saying that because Microsoft posted some freebies for VFP on their web site that they should not limit access to the web site only to registered VFP users.
