>I have two projects where clients want to e-mail Visual FoxPro reports to someone. It has been suggested that converting the VFP report to PDF format is the best solution. Anybody with Adobe Acrobat Reader can view these files and Acrobat Reader is available for free.

>One way of creating PDF files is by means of the full version of Adobe Acrobat but that costs $250 (ouch!) and it has features I don't need. I also took a look at this page in the Fox Wikis
http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~PDFdrivers and noted the following three products, available at a lower price, that might do the job for me:
>
>1. pdfFactory from FinePrint Software, San Francisco, CA priced at $39.95
>
>2. pdfDriver from Zeon Corporation, Teipei, Taiwan priced at $49.95
>
>3. PDF Converter from Amyuni Consultants, Paris, France priced at $129.00

>Does anyone have experience with either of these products? Can anyone tell me about problems with either of them or limitations of which I should be aware? Can anybody tell me why the product from Amyuni Consultants costs so much more than the others? Can anybody suggest a better product than those mentioned above? Can anybody suggest a better solution for e-mailing VFP reports than converting them to PDF format?
I use #3.
ActiveX interface.
Produces PDF 1.2 format. (Is't not something bad :)).
To run on the Web you need Unlimited Developer version. ($800).
