No, it is not better. In fact, it is not good at all. :) It eventually will bomb at some point. The character string used as a file name has to start with non-numeric chatacter, not end with it.

On November 18, 1998 many FoxPro apps errored out because of that.
The typical SYS(2015) for that date looked like "_S000WNEY0". Set your computer date to November 18, 1998 and see what you get.
