Actually what I did was correct a seriously wrong statement. I have been corrected, rightly so, when I am wrong. I am grateful for it, and I'm embarrassed when I make gross mistakes. I am not proud of it.

It was not rude. It _was_ blunt. And I stand by it. It sounds like you are apparently still under the illusion you *might* be right and that the point is moot. It is not. I suggest again, as I did last night that you try your idea out.
