Hi Larry - sorry to bother you again!!!

I am simply trying to add records to a table via a view. Everything is fine except when I requery the view to reflect my newly added record it leaps to record 1 - every time - I understand that and I want it to stay on my new record.
I have tried everything like storing the current record number to a form property so that if I undo my add it returns ok and that works but whenever I try and catch the new record number it's either -1 cos it's an appended record or it's 1.

I guess I just don't know at what point to write the record number to this form property during the save to capture the new record number - do you follow? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I have spent an entire day just trying to sort this!!!
