Hi Marty,
I've used both a I like VSS better. It may be my lack of understanding of PVCS but there seems to be more developer friendly options in VSS.

1. More report options
2. Ability to get files writable (for testing things)
3. More filter options
4. Recursiveness - PVCS only allows this for view purposes. Then you can select individually from the recursive list displayed. VSS will process the tree for you.

PVCS 6.5 (I understand 6.7 is out now)
