Barbara,

Thanks! The conversion to VFP6 makes sense. I'm now confused as to what I'm looking at from the client. They are running FPD26 using these FRM files. If they were UNIX based when written, how are they running on the DOS system? Am I able to modify and compile the application files (FXP, etc) in FPD? I have almost no experience with UNIX other than LST (or some command like that) so forgive me if this is a really basic topic...

All their reports used "FRM" files instead of the more modern FRX/FRT files. I don't know, but I think that was the case with the original FoxBase also.

I've just run across an application that I need to revise that uses these FRM files and until I read your post I had no idea what format they were. What is SCO-Fox and do I need to get a special version of Foxpro other than DOS 2.6 to modify and compile these? If so, were the other app files likely written in another version as well? Just concerned that I will cause damage I can't repair. Thanks!
