That was it! What was strange though, was that in the process of trouble shooting, I actually did run the chngPath utility, but it did not seem to work. When I went and manually browsed the MetaDBC table, there were two records - and the one I really wanted to use was marked deleted! No idea about how that happened, but I just reversed the deleted marks to get the one I wanted, and now life is good!
