>I created a one-to-many report. Before I run it, I assign a label value to a memvar used in a field box in the group header. The report will run but when I try to advance the page in print preview, I get an error telling me that the memvar is unknown - even though it worked fine on page 1.

This concept should work. Do you have any UDF calls in the report that are inadvertantly releasing the memvar? Otherwise, could you post some code showing how you create the memvar and run this report. Maybe if I saw the code something would jump out at me.
