In my case, I will only need to build one view so I can't afford to buy xCase just for it. My understand is that we can process that in only one line of code. Also, the View SQL of the view designer only show the SQL part. So, it seems to set up the updatable fields and other stuff we need to add additional lines of code to the SQL line. I'll take a look at some articles posted so far to start with.

Basically, what I need is to create the cursor, define a few field as updatable and save the changes.
