>Hi Nick,
>I got to Visual Extend's web-site and downloaded their manual for version 6. I looked at it, but haven't printed it yet (91 pages). Page 68 has discussion on their Child Grid Builder. Is it possible to use that Builder w/o the rest of their framework? I know that isn't a fair question, but I'm asking anyway.
I don't think so. Builders write the code into the instance of your grid and that code is framework-specific, i.e supposed to work with the grid (and other classes from the framework). Using Builders requires Registration Key. Before there was the hardware key (the dongle key) now as I see in version 7 it is sofrware key.
>Visual Extend 7.0 I thought was for .Net (or maybe vfp7)
The update notes say that it is both for VFP 6 and VFP 7.
>Thanks for all your help. The major benefit for me using UT is being able to "talk" (and listen) to other programmers.
