>>>Hey Evan,
>>>
>>>What happened last night? I thought the Rocks were going to roll over the Rangers... < gd&r >

>>Kenny Rogers pitched very well for the Rangers, and Pedro Astacio gave up five runs and 11 hits in six innings. That was the difference. Only thing that kept the Rockies in the game was three errors (two from A-Rod at short). Besides, Pedro's not exactly the ace of the staff with a 6-10 record (sigh).

>>Mike Hampton's pitching tonight -- things *should* be different (G). I'll be there to find out (s)...

>It's cool that you're getting to go to all 3 games...I hope you get enough of a Rockies fix to hold you over 'til next time.

The only ace the Rangers have this year is the player wearing the jersey with the number "1" on it (snicker). It's really bad when the only starting pitcher in your rotation with a winning record (Darren Oliver) has an ERA of over six runs a game...

Well, as it happens...the Rockpilers will be in San Diego to play the Padres the weekend *after* DevCon in September. YES, I'm staying for it (BG). I'm also going up to Colorado *next weekend* on business -- and YES, catching the Dodgers at Coors Field (on Saturday only, unfortunately).

Okay, so I'm on immersion therapy (laugh)...but this "fix" should last me until next season. Welllll...maybe (g)
