Pete,

I just installed FPW 2.6a on a 512 meg. Win98 system and a 392 meg W2K system and it runs OK. I *did* have to install the patch from MS (for "fast processors", but who knows what else might also be involved).

In fact my version was FPW 2.6 and the patch wouldn't install on that, but MS was good enought to also provide a patch to upgrade the 2.6 version to 2.6a.
I had to do that first.

For what it's worth, I couldn't even get the install (FPW 2.6, from diskettes) to run on WinME - it started and quickly shut itself down.

Good luck,

JimN

> We have an app in FPW2.6 that runs OK on everyone else's machine except this particular person's who has 256Meg of RAM. It's the only thing I can think of off hand. The app just starts to open and immediately shuts down. We're running across a Novell Network.
