I lived in Albany (Loudonville, actually) from '61 to '64. Moved to Silicon Valley in '71. To the Pacific in '86.

Interesting...when the Time-sharing company I worked for in Buffalo was bought out by a California company (Tymshare), not many people were willing to leave their home town family and friends...my husband at the time and I were thrilled to have someone offer to move us to CA...and my family ended up following us...great moves all around.

Jim says it's 45 degrees in Cincinnatus TODAY! the 14th of July (13th there, oc). yikes...I remember they said, about Buffalo, "they have 2 seasons: winter and the 4th of July" (although I remember that it can get pretty hot and steamy in Buffalo).
